Those Wacky Coven Oldenwilde Witches Are At It Again!

Dec. 3--Superior Court, Asheville, Buncombe County, NC

Talk about wacky news, the DA' s office in Asheville, Buncombe County, NC decided to represent witches that claimed that items were stolen from their place of worship, located in their house in West Asheville.

Steve Rasmussen, aka, Diuvei, and Dixie Deerman, aka, Lady Passion, calling themselves the High Priestess and High Priest of the Oldenwilde Coven in Asheville, accused documentary filmmaker Giuli Schacht, of breaking into their place of worship and stealing items that she had previously loaned to their temple.

In the three day trial, Schacht's Lawyer, Jason Wilson of Asheville, pointed out to the jury that there was no credible eyewitness, and no evidence except a strange tape recording presented by the DA and produced by Deerman and Rasmussen, that appeared rehearsed and doctored and at best was "fishy" --"batty" may have been the more appropriate word.

The jury consisting of liberal Asheville peers that might have been sympathetic to a Coven had there been any real evidence, and religiously tolerant, spent less than 5 minutes to declare of verdict of not guilty for Giuli Schacht, leaving this reporter wondering why our district attorney's office decided to waste tax payers money on this "case"

Assistant District Attorney John Pritchard, appealed to the jury in his closing remarks that he had been thinking about this case over the Thanksgiving Holidays and begged the jury to consider the case as the Pilgrims might have, and be religiously tolerant of the witches beliefs. Evidently he was unaware of the witch hunts that took place in the Plymouth Colony a few years after that Thanksgiving.

Things are not boding well for the Oldenwilde Coven in their apparent turn to the dark side, ignoring the Witch's Rede of "Harm No One" by apparently falsely accusing Giuli Schacht and perhaps, manufacturing evidence. Even worse, their new revised book on spell crafting gives recipes for Repelling Intruders, To Reveal the Identity of a Thief, and Winning Legal Matters, all of which failed them in life and court. Now that conventional law has also failed them, Lady Passion and Diuvei may currently be learning the Wicca Law of Threefold Return.

This was sooo weird and wacky. The witches brought the charges out just a few days after a new law was passed in NC making robbing a place of worship a felony. The Coven appeared to have made the whole thing up!

I would also like to know why Ron Moore is using our tax money to take this non case to trial for THREE days!
A jury trial no less! That must have cost us thousands of dollars in this time of financial need. The Oldenwilde Coven should be charged for this sham or Ron Moore should pay back the money personally!

Coven Oldenwilde is the same wacked out witches that claimed victory against development while doing nothing but singing around a tree. The Pack family went to court and protected Asheville from unwanted development downtown. Now I guess these witchy fools are finding out how a real court of law works!

I am Lady Raena. Lady Passion's Sister in law. Five and a half years ago my husband Rebel and I went to help her at her covenstead. She was having seizures and needed " Help" They took our money for their bills, and then proceeded to betray us by throwing myself , my husband, her brother no less and our two children Karma 2 an 1/2 and rebel jr 6 months old at the time out into the streets homeless, in the North carolina snow. They kept all of our worldly possesions and even took our familiars Jake and Shadow minx. We by grace of Goddess were able to contact my father and he helped us limp our car to Texas where we currently live. My experience with coven oldenwilde was not good in any way adn I am a Priestess myself. There was no adherence to the laws of three nor were they truthfull in any matter. We left our home to go and take care of her and She did this to her own flesh and blood.
Thanks for hearing me on the matter.. Blessed Be ,
Raena

Shame on you all !!! I wonder how you'll react if someone stole from your church or place of worship?!
Lady passion is a gentle loving soul that helps A LOT of people and gives support and love unconditionally.
It's clearly that you are jealous at her success, especially with the recent success of her and Diuvei's popular witchcraft book., And we all know that the spells they wrote in the book ARE working very well ….
So …Don't you have something better to do with your adult life then gossip and spread lies ?
Seriously people get a life!!! Or at least a positive hobby…

Raena: Send me the whole story and I will write an article about it. That sound crazy wacky and I would like to use in my wacky news blog. You can reach me at jackmoe123@gmail.com

This is a great story Jack. You should post more about Oldenwilde Coven and their lack of credibility. Do they even really have a 501c3 non-profit? I think I will check with the IRS as they are taking donations over the internet stating they have 501c3 status. Check out my post at:

Keep up the wacky and other news about Asheville and the mountain area. We appreciate it!

Dear Jack moe, what you are doing is a clear manipulation of your readers!!!
It is not a news article , it is an article intended to manipulate the readers and make them stand up against "oldenwilde"
it all becomes very clear when you asked "Raena" for some more "dirt" about oldenwilde .
It makes me wonder what you gain from it ?!
No one is falling for your manipulation "jack moe" , the only one you're fooling is yourself !

Raena : Remember The Laws !!!
1. Ever remember ,ye are the "hidden children of the goddess " so never do anything to disgrace them or her

2.SO BE IT ARDANE ,that no one tell anyone not of the craft or give any names ,or where any abide ,or in any way tell anything which can betray any of us to our faces

I come as an objective witness.
I can say that Coven Oldenwilde is most definetly a legal non-profit entity. First of all, they were in fact robbed. The local authorities did nothing to fingerprint or investigate, not taking their allegations seriously. Lady Passion had many valuable items stolen from her. Reportedly, Giuli is now homeless, living with her father, and has a very bad alcohol addiction. Apparently, in the last three years, since the robbery, she has lost almost everything. So it seems that threefold return is having it's affect on her. AS for the covenstead, it is possible that this was a form of Karma for them as well. But that isn't anyone's business. The fact that they tried to pursue a legal battle is not a crime. If you had several thousand dollars worth of items stolen from you, karmic or not, you might do the same. Their evidence is not fabricated, that's just your opinion, which is clearly not researched and has no factual basis.
On the Heirs of Pack vs. Black Dog Realty affair. I met and spoke to one of the heirs of Pack, after the trial, in which we attended. I was told by her that the reason they even knew about the illegitimate land deal was due to the Covenstead's involvement. She expressed deep gratitude towards the High Priest and Priestess for their involvement, and depsite her graceful poise, did not seem to be put out by the witches at all. Making it known to the public is how we won against the developers. Sitting for 63 days under a tree, looking towards her own community for food and water, helped to bring great light to the issue. The court room was packed with many people, not just some "wacky witches" whose intentions are to stop a bad land deal and save our public town square. They did far more than sit around a tree. As a matter of fact, one of the attorney's who worked pro bono on the plaintiff's case, was a witch, affiliated with COven Oldenwilde. It was his research that helped to win the case. And, WE WON! Developer Stewart Coleman is not allowed to develop the land left behind by Asheville's greatest benefactor, George Pack.
Mr. Moe, it seems to me that you are bashing witches and your opinions are not objective. Is that not religious persecution? IF this trial had gone on by just basic people, would you be yelling so wildly? Are you a part of the black dog realty team? You sound like one of those hater nuts that maybe got hurt by the deal going south. You sound nuttier than the withces! I have to wonder who you really are and why Oldenwilde is such a threat to you.
When it comes to Lady Raena, I don't doubt her stories legitimacy, yet, there are two sides to every story. I would love to speak with her to hear her side of the story, but not to get dirt. AS she is a High Priestess, I would be interested in knowing who ordained her, and from which tradition.
When it comes to family, I have to ask, what offended Lady Passion so much that she threw you out on the street? I know Lady Passion and she takes people into her home regularly. She has not thrown anyone on the street that I have winessed. However, there is a Covenstead Law written to protect them from succubus' and it states that no outsiders are allowed to stay in the Covenstead for more than three days, as it is a religious place of worship. Yes, it is legally a 501.C.3 and you can look it up, it is also a legal wildlife sanctuary. Now, I don't claim to know all the dirty details of a High Priestess and High PRiest and their personal lives. But as mentors and activists in our community, they have been extremely helpful in preserving this town and helping community members as they call upon the covenstead for many various needs. WHo are you to judge whether they take someone to court or not. And maybe it is their Karma how it turned out, isn't that enough? They have clearly admitted that they can't win every battle. And they did know the identity of the thief, by way of their spell.
One more point I'd like to make and if you erase my comments Mr. Moe, it is evident that you don't want anyone to be swayed and you are trying to poison the witches, unobjectively. If you delete my comments, it is because their is fact in them. When it comes to their book, I must ask, how many wiccan books or books on witchcraft have you read Mr. Moe? I have read a great many and most of them are borrowed rehashed fluff. Their book is thorough and informative and does great justice to my religion. I am proud to be a part of their community despite how bad my reputation may be hurt by our current stone throwers and those who would love to continue to burn withches at the stake. You call them wacky and say they are invalid. How many taxpayers dollars have been spent on worse things? Right now we have illegal immigrants reciveing medicaid and our own working citizens can't get healthcare. How many dollars do we spend on domestic disputes in court over illegals? How about you focus in on something truly worth complaining about? Why don't you spend some time at the covenstead and see for yourself?

F'delm said...

I must also add that Giuli did not steal items she had loaned. She stole items she had donated, used them to give her an excuse to break into the covenstead, take those items back, plus steal more items that did not belong to her, including one of their laptops. How dare you ridicule Ron Moore for doing his job? If the waste of money in court is what is truly upsetting you, how about you spend some time in criminal court, witnessing the insane waste of taxpayers dollars in the ongoing plot of white cop vs. black man?

F'delm said...

Maria, that is incorrect. The charges have been withstanding for a long time. It had taken this long to bring it to court. This issue is three years in the works. Three years the covenstead has been pursuing the thief, all the time knowing her identity. Just because the courts did not work in the Coven's favour does not mean the Gods have not!
And James, if the trial lasted three days, is that the fault of the plaintiff? No, it isn't. The plaintiffs did not want it to drag on. It was the defendant's that caused the delays. Obviously most of you have no clue what you are talking about and are shooting accusations into the wind, because you think it makes you sound good or smart. You all should check your motives. Is it the trial that is the issue, or do you just hate witches?

F'delm said...

Hey Jack, If you want to know the entire story about "Lady Raena" why don't you ask her about her husband, Rebel, and why he punched Lady Passion in the face, or how they moved in because they needed help and *Diuvei and Lady Passion responded to THEIR call. Or how about how they ABANDONED their two cats and left all of their stuff behind, which is still in the covenstead awaiting Raena and Rebel to claim them. How about you ask her about how they wanted to be instant initiate's of the covenstead and when their requests could not be fulfilled, they demostrated hate and violence towards those who helped them. As I said, there are two sides to every story. and, Lady Passion did not press assault charges against her own brother. Get your story straight.

jack moe said...

Invoke Love: So why is it you are trying to scare Raena from telling her story with all your mumbo jumbo bullshit laws.

Lady Passion, ooops I mean F'delm
Guili was found innocent in a court of law by 12 of her peers and so to say she stole anything would be incorrect. As a member of the Coven Oldenwilde why do you present yourself as an "objective witness"
You seem very confused about the Raena story, I didn't post it-- she did. When I report the story, it will be accurate. Also seems very typical that you would cry "religious persecution" when someone dares to publish information about wacky coven leaders that apparently fabricated false evidence against an innocent victim. This information about the trial and the waste of taxpayers money is a matter of public record.
Sure there are other examples of wasteful litigations, but this is one of the wackiest to take place in Asheville.

Just because there was no evidence of Giuli stealing from the Covenstead doesn't mean it didn't happen. It just means there was no worthy evidence with which to convict her. One reason is because the authorities would not fingerprint the Covenstead. Giuli is getting her "just rewards" for breaking into a place of worship and for larceny. This has been verified by her downfall.
Oh, and I am not Lady Passion. I am F'delm.

There are so many comments consistent with the inconsistencies put out by Dixie and Steve.

Just becauses someone can call themselves a religion (if the make toolittle many( and take it off their personal tax returns does not mean they have a legitimate 501c3. I encourage everyone to call the IRS and ask about Coven Oldenwilde.

I tried to help them make their home look better because they were losing their home. I loaned valuable possessions. I thought they meant "do no harm."

As far as name calling please, am I to believe that a juvelnile approach such as that is "goodly"?

I have no idea what happen at their house; what I do know is they made in access of $17,000 on an insurance policy that did not belong to the 501c3. It was Dixie private policy just as the house is a single family residence belonging to Dixie. HMMMM

Do not believe me check out the tax records with the city of Asheville at 113 Clinton Ave.

Truly, I think Coven Oldenwilde has some splaining to do.

You simply are unaware of the circumstances or are out and out lying. Unless you are Dixie, AKA Passion or her boy warlock thing or the idiot that brought this to trial using public monies, you were not at the trial. The plaintiffs made the trial go on and on for days with their obviously doctored evidence and tapes. It looks to me like Giuli, the innocent filmmaker that was the Coven's intended victim, has also caught you in another web of lies.

Sir, I know these leaders of Oldenwilde, I am a Polytheist, Pagan and a Wizard, and I attended their Samhain in 2008, 2009, and 2010. They are good people, they've always been nice to me and never tried to do me wrong in anyway. I think there may be more to this case than presented. You call them "Wacky Witches," which to me is an insult. If they had been Christians, would you have called them "Crazy Christians?" Point being, don't attribute Witch with some of the modern day and Holloywood misconceptions you may have been presented, same with Wizardry. I am not of the same religion as Oldenwilde, but I do consider them friends.

Lady Passion and her husband are crazzyyyy and discietful people!!!! They tried to scrounge over 50 dollars out of me, a naiive and poor college student, because I set a pen down on their couch and it ended up exploding. My parents would NEVER blame anyone, let alone a young college kid, for something like that. Perhaps they should not use pens if they don't want that to happen???! Idk. After I refused to pay for that, they didn't let me join their coven, after I obviously demonstrated to them how passionate I was about my religion in their interview to join. They seemed to treat their current student like a slave, and I felt sorry for him. They acted very pretentious towards me in the interview, despite how passionate I am about Wicca. The student even made a point to come outside and tell me what a good job I had done and to not pay attention to their reactions.
I think Lady Passion is schizophrenic on top of being an manipulative and lousy adult.
Oh, also the only thing she did throughout the entire process was shove her stupid book down my throat. All she did was tell me to buy it and she acted like I was stupid for not ordering it yet, before she even told me to order it. What a wackjob.
