Pet Cremation Urns

Our pets are some of the most important “people” in our lives. We raise them as we would a child and they are a constant companion that shows us the most important thing in the world: unconditional love. Our beloved animal companions become part of our family, and the connection we make with them is one that cannot fully be described in words. Pets are more than just an animal who lives in our house, a trophy possession or a living security system. They are our friends, helpers, confidants and sometimes our closest companions. When a pet passes away, it can often be just as difficult as losing a close friend or family member and the grief we experience is just as debilitating and difficult to move through. One of the ways we can deal with the loss of a pet is to memorialize them in the same way we would a person who passes. These days it is not uncommon to cremate a lost pet, and create a cremation memorial to that animal companion.

There are many reasons to cremate a pet when it passes away. One reason is to create a constant reminder of all the love and compassion the pet showed to us through its presence in our lives. Pets are often able to comfort us when nobody else can, and they seem to be able to give us the intangible support that a human being can’t always offer. For this reason, remembering them is a way to honor that contribution that they made to our lives and keep those memories alive forever. Of course you do not have to keep the cremated remains of the pet…perhaps you might spread the ashes someplace as you would the ashes of a departed family member. But if you do decide to keep the ashes of the beloved animal companion, then securing them in a custom made cremation urn is a wonderful way to preserve and protect the remains.

Pet urns are available in any shape and size you can imagine, and a custom made funeral urn is a wonderful way to memorialize a lost pet. The decorative urn can be crafted into any style and using a variety of materials. Ceramic cremation urns can be molded and shaped to the likeness of the pet or nave themed decorations that reflect the nature of the fine animal friend. Metal art urns are a modern looking item that is durable and sturdy, and can be displayed outside if an outdoor cremation memorial is desirable. Glass cremation urns are truly magical with swirling colors and patterns of bright hues unattainable in other mediums.

Whatever medium you choose, a custom made funeral urn is a great way to show the world the way in which your beloved animal companion impacted your life. A simple decorative art urn with a photo of your pet is a wonderful way to make a memorial and often other items that represent you pet can be displayed around the memorial cremation urn. Other types of memorial artwork can be obtained to go with the hand made art urn as well. Memorial jewelry, textile art and memorial paintings are all appropriate ways to honor the life of a beloved pet. Pets give us so much and ultimately ask so little in return, and it is not surprising that so many people are choosing to memorialize them when they pass.

When shopping for funeral costs be sure to be aware of the high cost coffins and how you can pay a fraction by shopping online before the funeral rather than buying from the funeral home.

I think giving a good cremation to your pets is the best way to remember them. Living with them for so many years you get attached to them and they become part and parcel of our life. So cremation can be best way to remember them.
